Telehealth Ontario does not make medical diagnosis or dispense medication, but they do provide guidance.
The calls are handled by registered nurses. For example, they will let you know whether, you could :
handle the problem yourself, or
visit a medical doctor or nurse practitioner, or
go to a walk in clinic, or
contact a community service, or
go to your nearest hospital emergency room.
